Our firm was founded in 2004 as a solo practice by David C. Shea. From 1999 until opening his current practice, Mr. Shea was a partner in the firm of King & Shea (formerly King & Vernon) with attorney Kermit S. King. Prior to 1999, Mr. Shea served as an assistant public defender in Lexington County, gaining valuable trial experience in the area of criminal defense. In addition, he is a graduate of the National College of Criminal Defense. Mr. Shea is admitted to practice in all South Carolina state courts and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.
